Yesterday, I'm putting away shipment at Job #1 (video retail), when I come across a copy of Doctor Who Season 5. No biggie - it's something we usually carry. Except. I notice that the nifty holographic cover thing is missing. Instead, it's COVERED with writing in silver sharpie.

Curious, I examine it. The squiggles look suspiciously like signatures - BUT WHOSE? Finally, I manage to make out what I think is Arthur Darvill's name. That's when it clicks into place.

This was possibly a signed copy.
Now, I'm not entirely sure, so I take a picture on my phone. Later that night, I look up images of Matt Smith's, Karen Gillan's, and Arthur Darvill's signature and find that they are very similar to those on the box set.

I'm still kind of confused as to HOW or WHEN my company managed to snag a signed copy, but - OMG - it's a SIGNED copy!

And of course I bought it.

Yes, it is awesome to be me.
