I am working on this (hopefully) really cool SPN fanart of Castiel and the Leviathan (who has wormed its way into my heart for "best badass villain in the show since Ol' Yellow-Eyes"), but it's giving me problems :/ I drew these two in an effort to unwind, but now they're slowly taking over my sketchpad.

The nerd is a science nerd with a badly written Southern accent. The hipster is a hipster with the disposition of a big puppy. Their relationship defies all logic, and all their friends hate one another but tend to agree that the two of them could do so much better.

ETA: GDI - I hate it when I finish inking something and I realize that I completely flubbed something so obvious like the dialogue. That's supposed to me "Does this still mean we're going out Friday?"

Notes: I have too many AU's with Gillian....I can't help it, though! He's long been a favorite of mine.

Also, the title is an anachronism. I decided that Gillian would probably listen to the Smiths and/or Morrissey (because the AU is actually set in 1990). "You are the Quarry" is the title of Morrissey's 2004 album.

Post-script: I drew all those roses...

Finished a prompt on y-gal, which I won't be posting here for various reasons. I was bored afterward and doodling around in Photoshop, when what I was drawing spontaneously became a self-portrait.

I'm not really this cool. But I do own awesome sunglasses and a pretty awesome hat. And I say "awesome" way too much.

I've been at this for hours. It took me a while to realize that the shading on Rook's skin wasn't blending smoothly because the resolution was 180 dpi instead of my normal 300 dpi. DPI MATTERS, YO.

Also, I need an art icon....
