Holy fucking fuck...

You know the concept of "lost time" - a "side effect" of "alien abductions" and Big Bad Science's Eeeeeevil Experiments on average American schmoes in which the abducted suddenly realizes that a chunk of time is unaccounted for in their life after they wake up naked in a field, along the lonely stretch of state road, or in their car?

Yeah...that's what it's like reading TV Tropes.

Germ of an idea

Knit Club - "The first rule of Knit Club: Don't talk about Knit Club." A fluffy story of an odd assortment of high school boys and their ragtag knitting circle and all the scarves, socks, and sweaters they make along the way. Friendship, romance, and yarn.

THIS idea has been plaguing me since last night. In the small town, five minutes from where I live (which is a notso spooky-unless-you're-Tuesday farmhouse), there's a publishing house, which specializes in knitting, crochet, and nostalgic "good ol' days" magazines. They have a job opening, which I'm eying, but I know next to nothing about knitting. I tried it once and failed miserably, so just never tried again.

Anyhow, for some reason, I was thinking of knitting and this job while at my other job, and somehow this story slowly took form in my mind, and has been hounding me since. (I don't do fluffy high school romances!)
