- First: Matt Smith's Doctor has similar speech patterns to Tennant's Doctor, which I'm going to chalk up to his having regenerated so soon.
- Second: I really like Amelia Pond. Her name DOES sound like something out of a fairytale, and she seems strong-headed enough (like any good companion) to not always listen to the Doctor.
- Was anybody else a bit creeped out when kid-Amelia invited Eleven in?? Honey, he could have been a pervert!
- Eleven, way to be an ass to a little kid -_- (she makes you food, you spit it out! and then you practically brag about not having aunts. though, to your credit, later on you say that you're worse than aunts. which I think is a fair assessment.)
- I see that Moffat is not going to really pull the same tactics as RTD with making his fans guess just WHAT the Big Bad of the season is going to be, while throwing out red herrings. Though, that was sometimes the funnest part of RTD's Who....And I don't appreciate the sort of heavy-handedness with which Moffat gave what I'm going to assume is the Big Bad. It was just.....bleh.
- What is it with the Doctor and soon-to-be-married women?
- Overall? I liked the episode. The pacing was great and the plot, acting, dialogue, etc. was engaging enough to keep me watching.
- ALSO, BILL NIGHY!!!! THAT WAS TOTALLY HIM IN THE TRAILER AT THE END!!! OMIGOSH!!! BILL NIIIIIIGHY!!!!
