Title: We have lingered in the chambers of the sea
Inspiration: The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" by TS Eliot
Medium: PSCS3, Pen tablet
Warnings: Lots of rough sketchiness.
LOOK AT WHAT YOU MADE ME DO, TS ELIOT.
Yes, sometimes, I interpret the last stanza of the poem as Prufrock drowning. Most of the time, I like to think that he's just daydreaming of joining those whacky mermaids and is totally disturbed by some dickhead talking very loudly on the beach about, like, his rad biceps or something as girls fawn over him. The whole "drowning" bit is him being dragged back into the sucky real world where he'll never be like beach bum bicep dude, thus he drowns under his inadequacies and inability to socialize. DAYDREAMING ABOUT MERMAIDS IS SRZ BSNZ, YO.
I never said I was a serious English major.
