I'm watching Glass Fleet.
WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK, GONZO?!
Here's a list of the weirdness thus far:
1. The bishounen villain threw a rose within the first five minutes of the first episode. A ROSE. I don't think I've seen a thrown rose since Treize Kushrenada in Gundam Wing (okay, so admittedly, I'm having trouble remembering whether or not Treize threw a rose, but he certainly enjoyed them...to the point where he states that his bath is rose-scented).
2. In a EPIC AWESOME SWORD BATTLE between the hero and the villain, there was a SUDDEN FLASH OF LIGHT as their swords collided during the battle's Decisive Blow™, throwing the duelists back and stripping them of their shirts. I don't know if this blatant fanservice or parody.
3. THIS. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS. I DON'T EVEN.
I'm going to plod on. Try to finish this. I only paid $11 for it....If worse comes to worse, I can sell it back for in-store credit to go towards Iron Man 2.
